Leatherneck magazine article republished in remembrance of Pearl Harbor attack

In 2016, I wrote an article for Leatherneck magazine about a neighbor of mine when I was growing up who was relieving the guard on Ford Island at Pearl Harbor the morning of Dec. 7, 1941. The Marine Corps Association reposted the article on its website this year in early December in remembrance of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and Leatherneck has given permission for Tales Press to include it on my blog.
