About Project Recover

Project Recover is a nonprofit organization that brings academic researchers together with volunteer team members to search for, locate, and assist in the recovery of Americans missing in action from past wars using underwater robotics and cutting-edge underwater scanning technology. In collaboration with the University of Delaware and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Project Recover has already located over 50 aircraft associated with more than 170 MIAs lost in conflicts from World War Two to the Persian Gulf War. Joining us in person for the post-film discussion will be Dr. Pat Scannon, who is founder of Project Recover, and Derek Abbey, Project Recover’s CEO and President.
